Reinvestment is one of Jared’s favorite accomplishments. In more than 20 years of work, Jared is most proud of the projects that create vibrant uses out of areas that were in decline. A project designer and planner, Jared has typically worked in urban design, redevelopment, and public places.
Recently, Jared has focused his sights more on redevelopment plans and implementation strategies. He works to identify needs, find funding, and then get the work done. Mostly he’s working in corridor and neighborhood reinvestment, in older inner city thoroughfares.
A former executive director of a downtown merchant association, Jared has made it his mission to positively impact the financial success of local businesses in whatever community he works. He’s also a writer, and published an award-winning book exploring the history, style and stories of South Florida residential architecture since the early 1900s.
