Biological Technicians

NORTH STATE RESOURCES, INC. (NSR) is seeking resumes for Biological Technician positions to conduct various biological surveys and habitat assessments throughout northern and southern California, and southern Oregon. Studies may include various herpetofauna, avian, mammal, invertebrate, and fish species. One season of survey experience with one or more of these species is preferred. NSR will provide additional project specific training.

Desired knowledge and skills: Prefer at least one year of previous experience in conducting biological surveys; orienteering with topographic maps and aerial photos; vegetation and habitat measurements; backcountry driving and safety; and robust health and fitness for working in a wide range of physically demanding and environmentally challenging conditions. Recent experience in California and academic training in natural resources is preferred.
